08:43 pm - Poly, MacDonald style

So, we both have Secondary loveS, but it has gotten Complicated.

Nik's Secondary is Jack, mine is Breanne. But Jack greatly prefers snuggling up to me at Night, and Breanne is always sneaking into nik's side of the bed after We have gone to Sleep. Jack is good about Respecting Our Marital One on One time, but Breanne Wants to share in those private mommy/daddy Moments which can make things awkward. Often, We have to encourage Our SecondAries to play with each other until Nik and I are Ready for the full group Snuggles. we are getting better with having our boundaries known -before- we have to Kick Someone out of bed but only Jack is good about the situational awareness. Breanne Could give less of a care. But she is Young. Ian hopeful that she will learn eventually.

It's a good thing anybody likely to read this knows you're talking about the dogs.

*laughs* we have to put Shadow out of the room entirely to have adult time. she thinks the proper place for her to sleep is in the MIDDLE of the bed, pushing TheEngineer OUT of the bed if at all possible! (and she does get him to go all the way over to the edge of the bed on a regular basis.)

pretty pesty for a 6.5 little dog, she is!!

I totally thought you were talking about people until I read the comments. (Not saying that I disagree with polygamous relationships) I just wouldn't know what advice to give if u were.

We have the same problem with our dogs. I wish we could just kick them out and have a no dog on bed role but I don't think my partner would ever be down with that. It can be very awkward!!
